Discussions can be challenging to design and facilitate in online courses.  When planned and implemented well, discussions encourage critical thinking, engage learners, and generate a sense of community in the online course environment.  This interactive workshop will provide an opportunity to learn from experienced online faculty about successful strategies to employ and mistakes to avoid as you create effective online discussions.
