More Details

The Tennessee STEM Education Center (TSEC) provides faculty support for education research and improvement of instruction inside and outside the classroom. Undergraduate research is a high impact practice and a niche area at MTSU that can benefit both students and faculty. Participants in this workshop will learn how to design undergraduate research projects for individuals and teams with publication as an end product. The workshop is for faculty interested in increasing productivity when working with undergraduate students. Presenters will share their strategies and outcomes through examples of successful projects, including those supported through URECA (teams and individuals), NSF-FirstSTEP (teams), and collaborations.
