More Details

When writing groups work well, they can facilitate a generative, supportive community and help faculty meet their writing goals. Writing groups can help faculty identify measurable and achievable goals, stay on task, and problem-solve writing obstacles. Whether you have experience working in a writing group or no experience at all and are curious to know how and why they work, this workshop is for you. Our goals for this hour-long workshop are threefold:

1. Understand how writing groups can serve your writing goals;

2. Identify the variety of ways writing groups can function;

3. Connect with fellow faculty to form groups.
