MTSU Advising social and network opportunities. This can include Brown Bag lunches, Mentorships, Social Hour, Potlucks, etc. 

Connects will be offered once a month, and will generally be worth 1/2 point (unless otherwise stated).

The Advisor Training Committee is hosting another Advisor Targeted Training, Using Microsoft Excel in Advising. Led by advisor Bonnie Mccarty, this training will offer some easy Excel tricks to more easily manage any of the reports we use.  Using CUSTOMS Argos reports as an example, you will teach the computer how to complete the same set-up steps for you each time you re-run the report, create a drop-down menu to categorize each student, and learn some simple formulas for tasks such as getting quick and easy statistics on your students.
