What is Document Drop Tutoring?
ADA Statement
The University Writing Center strives to create a welcoming environment for all writers and make learning experiences as accessible as possible. To that end, our computers in the center are equipped with the Job Access With Speech (JAWS) screen reader developed for computer users whose vision loss prevents them from seeing screen content or navigating with a mouse. In addition, writers can also utilize ZoomText Magnifier/Reader, a fully integrated magnification and reading program tailored for low vision users. ZoomText enlarges and enhances content on computer screens, echoes typing and essential program activity, and automatically reads documents, web pages, and email. All of our Writing Resource sheets found in the Online Resource section of our website can be read using these programs. We are committed to ensuring equal access and encourage all students who want to improve their writing to visit the center.
