Theatre Audition Information
Every semester, The Department of Theatre and Dance hosts auditions open to all MTSU Students.
Auditions are usually held on campus a semester in advance of the production. Call
backs are usually held in the days following initial auditions.
Traditionally, auditions consist of reciting a memorized 60-90 second monologue for plays and 16-32 bars of singing to live accompainment for musicals.
There is not an audition required to take theatre courses.
If you have any questions about the audition process or upcoming opportunities, please email Director of Production and Technical Operations - John.Underwood@mtsu.edu.
