Project Description
This video project purpose is to showcase the Charlie Hazel Daniels Center with their supporting services for the military oriented students and veterans to efficiently transition into the academic student lifestyle at MTSU.Why does this topic interest you?
I am very passionate about supporting the military culture and thankful for the sacrifice and work they serve to the nation protecting its citizens. The Charlie Daniels Hazel Center provide excellent services and I wanted to help. Thankfully, the director Dr. Miller provided the opportunity to create a video advertising in order to allow more military oriented students become informed of the services to better help student personal life and academic success. What are your professional aspirations?
I am a Business Administration major; I am pursuing knowledge on business to hopefully one day to own a business that supports military veterans and first responders. I enjoy reading books and hearing podcasts to improve my character and knowledge. I am currently a MTSU Army ROTC cadet, in the plans of commissioning. I hope to continue cinematography projects because it's just fun!Do you have any advice for future researchers?
The best advice I can think of is to get out of the comfort zone and do something you enjoy. Whether it be a few hours less a week for fun, invest that time instead into something that will absolutely benefit you in long run-in life. The URECA administration are very kind and fantastic people! They are very approachable and it's a fun community of fellow students and faculty that are there to support you in your research and creative activity project. In true honesty it is one of the few very unique and professionally beneficial academic groups I have been involved with and I couldn't ask for a better aspiring group than the faculty and fellow students at URECA & SOAR. It is worth trying and worth the effort! Find the thing you love to do!
