MTSU Convocation

Convocation marks the official opening of the academic year, and welcomes all new students to MTSU! This event is an MTSU tradition and a must-attend for the entering Class of 2028. Convocation is hosted by President McPhee. New students will take the True Blue Pledge, led by Student Government Association President Michai Mosby.

Our keynote speaker will be Firoozeh Dumas, author of “Laughing Without an Accent: Adventures of a Global Citizen”

The Convocation Ceremony, as well as Ms. Dumas’ presentation, can be viewed at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, on True Blue TV and MTSU’s Facebook channel.
