Biography

Alison received her Master’s degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University and her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology from Slippery Rock University. Alison worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Florida Atlantic University with football prior to coming to MTSU. Alison received her Master’s degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University and her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology from Slippery Rock University. Alison worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Florida Atlantic University with football prior to coming to MTSU. During her time at MTSU, Alison has worked with the women’s basketball team from 2003-2010 and then with the women’s soccer team from 2011-present. In addition to providing coverage for athletic teams, Alison is responsible for coordinating budget and supply ordering for the sports medicine department as well as developing policies and procedures in the sports medicine department, and supervising graduate assistant athletic trainers. In her free time, Alison enjoys running, writing, and spending time with her family. Alison is originally from Olmsted Falls, Ohio and is a big Cleveland sports fan. Alison is married to Will Ness, who is the head athletic trainer at Lipscomb University, and they have one son, Jordan.
