Student Affairs
Your Journey, Our Commitment
Whether you are a first semester freshman or a senior preparing for graduation, the MTSU Division of Student Affairs is here to support your success. The Division of Student Affairs provides essential programs and services which support the matriculation, academic achievement, personal development, and quality of life of all MTSU students. Educational partnerships and academic support programs promote student learning and help students integrate academic development and personal growth. Creation of meaningful campus traditions and an active, involving campus life encourages the development of student leadership, personal responsibility and accountability, and an inclusive and supportive learning community.
True Blue

MTSU is a community committed to learning, growth, and service. We hold these values dear, and there’s a simple phrase that conveys them: “I am True Blue.” New students at convocation take the True Blue Pledge. It underscores our core values of honesty and integrity; respect for diversity; engagement in the community; and committing to reason, not violence. These words express not only the ideals the University wishes to share with its students but also our devotion to student success.
Campus Life
A vibrant campus life is the heartbeat of a thriving university community—where students feel connected, empowered, and engaged in experiences that shape their journey. An engaged campus fosters a sense of belonging through dynamic events, meaningful traditions, and opportunities for leadership and collaboration. Whether it’s participating in student organizations, attending cultural celebrations, or simply forging friendships in shared spaces, campus involvement enriches personal growth and academic success. The energy of an engaged campus isn’t just about activity; it’s about creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to contribute to the collective spirit of the institution. When students actively participate, they shape the culture, strengthen community ties, and leave a lasting impact that extends beyond graduation.

Blue CARE

At MTSU, we are dedicated to providing proactive assistance to students who may need extra support in managing their academic and social experiences. Through CARE referrals, campus and community partners help identify students facing challenges, allowing us to assess concerns and connect them with the appropriate resources—whether for academic success, wellness, financial assistance, or personal development. Our team streamlines access to support, ensuring that students receive timely guidance and outreach. By fostering a responsive and compassionate environment, we help students navigate their journey at MTSU with confidence, knowing they have a network of care committed to their success.
Student Involvement
Student Involvement and Leadership, which includes Fraternity & Sorority Life, June Anderson Center for Women & Nontraditional Students, Student Government Association, Student Organizations & Service, and Intercultural & Diversity Affairs helps students achieve their goals through the provision of high-quality support services and comprehensive programs that stimulate, enhance, and extend student learning; empowering Middle Tennessee State University graduates to become active, engaged citizen leaders in Tennessee and throughout the world.
