Summit Vision
Join the AI and the Future of Art Summit 2025: Creativity Reimagined, where artists, art historians, and cultural thinkers from around the globe come together to explore the future of art in an age of rapid technological change. Be part of the dialogue. Shape what comes next.
This summit, hosted by Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) will be a fully online global event.
Art has always been in conversation with technology. Today that conversation (as with the conversations of all disciplines with technology) turns urgently towards artificial intelligence. AI and the Future of Art Summit 2025: Creativity Reimagined is more than a summit. It’s a global conversation.
Born from the research project “Revitalizing the Conversation: Art, Technology, & AI” led by award-winning art historian Dr. Sara A. Abdoh, the summit brings together artists, art historians, and cultural innovators to answer bold questions: How is AI transforming creativity? What new futures for art are emerging? Together, we’ll explore the possibilities and reimagine what art can be in the age of AI.
This summit is:
- Fully online, designed to connect a global community
- Free to attend, because conversations that shape the future should be open access
Over two days, attendees will explore:
- How AI is transforming artistic practice and redefining creative processes
- The cultural, ethical, and philosophical questions raised by machine-assisted creation
- What it means to be human and creative in an increasingly algorithmic world
This isn’t about embracing or resisting technology. It’s an opportunity to reflect, to question, to imagine, and to shape the conversation together.
Thematic Structure
Day 1 Theme: “Rewriting Creative Boundaries”
