MBU 2026: Registration Closes January 9th

Please remember that you are reserving a place in the class for your scout when you register him.  The registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.  At the last moment, you may send another scout to replace a scout that can’t attend but they must take the same merit badge, be in at least the 8th grade and have all required forms completed.

Early Bird Registration is $20/scout if postmarked by December 1^st. Registration is $35/scout if paid after.

Payment will need to be made within two weeks from when you registered.
If we do not receive your payment by our deadline of Jan 1^st, the troop’s registration will be dropped.

**PLEASE remember to register one adult leader for an adult class – it is required that 2 adults be registered for each troop.  Do NOT drop off your Scout at the University and leave.

MBU is February 28, 2026

This is a GREAT opportunity for Scouts to earn that one Eagle required that has slipped passed them, or to get a First Class Scout a nudge to life. We provide food on campus at McCallie Dining Hall and a patch for your experience.  We hope that you will join us at MBU!

Schedule of Events

• 7:30 – Registration Begins. Check in for troops is at LRC 221.
• 8:30 – Opening Message, followed by a dismissal to classes.
• 9:00 – Classes Begin
• 11:30 – Lunch will be taken at various times depending on the class and will last 30min to 1 hour.
  • There are a variety of food options available at McCallie’s, located in the KUC.
• 3:30 – Classes will begin to be dismissed and return to LRC 221.
• 4:00 – MBU Ends

Additional Information

• Please put your unit number in the subject line of all correspondence.
• Registration is on a first come/first served basis.
• All Scouts must be over the age of 13 or First Class.
• Aviation must be at least 14 years old.
• After you complete the registration process, you must send your troop’s payment and a Waiver/Release form for each scout that has been registered, mail check or money order with Troop Number made payable to MTSU MBU
