Last year, we opened our new $74.8 million Applied Engineering Building and our $66 million Stephen and Denise Smith Student-Athlete Performance Center, and we cut the ribbon on our $73 million-plus Aerospace Shelbyville project. SPRING 2026 REAFFIRMATION OF ACCREDITATION AND STRATEGIC PLAN
Work continues on MTSU’s reaffirmation of accreditation by our institutional accreditor, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Beginning March 23, MTSU will host a team of external reviewers from comparable non-Tennessee SACSCOC institutions. This On-Site Committee Review Team will work to resolve Compliance Certification issues that the University addressed in
