A professional program designed for students who want intensive, performance-focused training that prepares them for a career in the field of performance. Includes study in the areas of acting, voice and movement with regular performance opportunities in Center Stage, Student Success, Showcase, and Cabaret productions that allow students to apply their training and in real productions and build a performance resumé. Graduates leave with a strong foundation for careers in theatre, musical theatre, film, and related performance fields. This degree requires an audition for admission and continued participation often depends on demonstrated growth, commitment, and professional potential.

Auditions are required for Admission to the B.F.A. degree program.
All students applying for this program are required to audition in person or virtually. Auditions will include the following:
Two contrasting monologues, a headshot and a resume.
Please prepare two contrasting monologues from contemporary or classic plays (one comedic and one dramatic, or two pieces that clearly contrast in tone or style). The combined performance time should not exceed three minutes. All monologues must be fully memorized and reasonably appropriate to your age range. Selections must come from published stage plays and should not rely heavily on dialect.
Auditions for 2027-2028 and beyond will be in February/March each Academic Year
