A professional program designed for students who want intensive, performance-focused training that prepares them for a career in the field of musical theatre. Includes study in the areas of acting, singing and dancing with regular performance opportunities in Center Stage, Student Success, Showcase, and Cabaret productions that allow students to apply their training and in real productions and build a performance resumé. Graduates leave with a strong foundation for careers in theatre, musical theatre, film, and related performance fields. This degree requires an audition and continued participation in the program depends on demonstrated growth, commitment, and professional potential.

Auditions are required for Admission to the BFA degree Program.
All students applying for this program are required to audition in person or virtually. Auditions will include the following:
Two musical theatre selections (a pre- and a post-1965 piece), a short dance combination, a one-minute monologue, a headshot, and a resume
Auditions for 2027-2028 and beyond will be in February/March each Academic Year
