The Division of Marketing and Communications is responsible for University marketing, advertising, branding and promotions. Its responsibilities include production of MTSU Magazine, as well as specialty magazines for the colleges and other units; producing videos, television and radio commercials and programming; generating content for social media, University’s primary website (www.mtsu.edu) and its news site (www.mtsunews.com); serving as a liaison and resource for outside media; producing the University’s major reports; and assisting the Office of the President with messaging and campus communication. The division also includes the offices of Creative and Visual Services, which provides graphic design and photographic services to the campus, and University Printing Services, which includes Blue Print Solutions in the Student Union Building.

Academic Marketing
Responsible for the University's overall advertising needs and available to consult and assists all colleges, departments and offices with marketing and branding strategies and specific projects. Academic Marketing also collects and interprets market research and, through the Office of Strategic Communications, oversees content functions of the University's primary website (www.mtsu.edu), the University's social media presence, and produces videos and television and radio commercials.

Creative and Visual Services
Offers writing, editing, photography and design services for the University. Produces a broad range of products, including posters, brochures, programs, pamphlets, guides, logos, bulletins and other academic documents. Creative and Visual Services helps ensure consistency in branding for the University and conducts Tennessee Higher Education Commission-required pre-publication review of materials. Works with University Printing Services and outside vendors.
