NEW ORLEANS - The United States Track & Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the NCAA Division I All-Academic teams and individuals for the 2014 cross country season and both Middle Tennessee teams earned the distinction.

A total of 225 women's programs and 179 men's programs earned All-Academic team honors. The Blue Raider women's squad boasted a 3.33 GPA, while the men earned a 3.13 GPA.

In addition to Middle Tennessee, three men's teams from Conference USA and five women's teams earned All-Academic team accolades.

Hillary Rono was the lone Blue Raider to be an USTFCCCA All-Academic individual and was one of 91 men who earned the distinction. In order to qualify, Rono had to compile at least a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and finish in the top 10 percent at the NCAA South Regional.
