Raif, a first-year graduate, flew from his home-country Lebanon to the U.S to pursue a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University. Upon his arrival at the university, Raif began working as a project associate for the Center for Organizational and Human Resource Effectiveness. He currently helps with selection, promotional, and job analysis projects for the Tennessee Highway patrol and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Going back in time, we find Raif graduating from the Lebanese American University (LAU) with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Business. During his time at LAU, Raif gathered skills and abilities which helped him get to where he was today. One particular area of talent was his research projects related to job redesign, student motivation, and attitudes related to Covid-19. Throughout these projects and others, Raif utilized excel, powerpoint, SPSS software, and many other tools.

During his final year at LAU, Raif worked part-time as a human-resource assistant with Saradar Bank, a national bank in the country of Lebanon. During this time, the bank was experiencing much negative feedback and retaliation from customers due to the negative political and economic situation in Lebanon. Nevertheless, Raif made sure to help the HR section with a unique perspective as the only individual who was studying Psychology. His work included networking to attract clients, re-organizing the structure of the organization post-downsizing, and reviewing job descriptions and the selection process.
