Recently, students and I have wrapped up a multi-year study on the ecology of timber
rattlesnakes in Middle Tennessee. For the past couple of years, I have been interested
in the reproductive ecology of rattlesnakes in the Snake River Plain of Idaho and
plan to continue some of that work. I am always looking for good grad students interested
in the snake ecology.
Thermal Ecology of Arthropods on Middle Tennessee Cedar Glades
I have been interested in the thermal biology of spiders in the local cedar glades.
The cedar glades offer a unique opportunity to examine small scale desert-like environments
within a forested landscape.
