Graduate Domestic Student Health Insurance Plan
Optional for MTSU domestic graduate students and fully compliant with the Affordable Care Act
Domestic Students taking 6+ credit hours can enroll in a student health insurance plan provided by Wellfleet Student.
This plan is only for domestic graduate students. If you are an international graduate student your required health insurance is managed through the Office of International Affairs. More information here.
Eligibility & Enrollment
How to Enroll:
- Follow the link to enroll or waive coverage
- Payment: The premium for the selected period is due in full at the time of enrollment.
- Verification: The Graduate School will verify your eligibility after the enrollment deadline. If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, you will be removed from coverage.
Important Reminders:
- Dependents: Dependent enrollment for voluntary domestic graduate students is not available.
- Other Insurance: This plan is designed to stand alone or be coordinated with any existing health plan.
- Marketable Subsidies: Because this is not considered employer insurance, it will not affect your ability to receive a marketplace subsidy or obtain an Affordable Care Act (ACA) plan through the marketplace.
