Description:

This workshop will introduce participants to the "nuts and bolts" features of the ePortfolio tool in D2L. We ask that all attendees bring their own laptop, as we will not be able to provide any for use during the session.

Participants will:

  • Begin working in their ePortfolio
  • Add artifacts
  • Create a Presentation with artifacts from their ePortfolio
  • See the process for submitting ePortfolio items to a Dropbox.
  • Have an opportunity to ask questions about the incorporation of ePortfolio assignments into their courses.

Learning Outcomes:

After the session, participants will be able to:

  • Create an ePortfolio presentation using the various features of the ePortfolio tool in D2L and see the process for submitting it to a Dropbox for grading/review
  • Identify support resources available to help them integrate ePortfolios into their own courses and/or programs.

Note: As the title suggests, this is a hands-on workshop. Participants should be prepared to log into the ePortfolio tool in D2L and actively participate in the creation of a sample ePortfolio presentation.
