Campus Updates

We are excited to announce that MTSU is upgrading to Self-Service Banner 9 (SSB9) as the new version of the system you access through Pipeline. This upgrade will bring a refreshed interface and improved functionality for students, faculty, and staff.

The upgrade will be rolled out in phases throughout the Fall 2025 semester. Below are the projected go-live dates (subject to change):

All SSB Applications will still be accessed via Pipeline. Training opportunities will be available throughout the phased transition. Updates and training resources will be available on the SSB9 website: www.mtsu.edu/ssb.

MTSU is continuing the process of upgrading to Self-Service Banner 9 (SSB9) as the new version of the system accessed through PipelineMT.

Effective Monday, November 10, MTSU will be upgrading the Employee and General Information menus in PipelineMT to the new SSB9 versions. Detailed information, navigation instructions, and more can be found at mtsu.edu/ssb/general.

Employee: Links within PipelineMT will change to direct employees to new screens for time entry, leave reports, and leave approvals. Other links regarding pay information, benefits, and tax information will also change. For a complete guide on how to navigate these new employee screens, click here. For any issues you encounter with Employee SSB9 pages please contact Darren Dickerson in Human Resource Services ([email protected]).

General Information: Students, faculty, and staff will now be able to view and update personal information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, and postal addresses on a central page within PipelineMT. With this upgrade to SSB9, a link to update personal information can be found on the Home menu of PipelineMT under “Personal Information” and in the Employee menu under “My Profile”. However, some personal information may still need to be updated manually by various campus offices. Details about these changes are posted at mtsu.edu/ssb/general.

On the afternoon of Monday, January 5, MTSU will upgrade the Faculty menu in PipelineMT to the new SSB9 version. For instructions on how to navigate the new Faculty menu, visit mtsu.edu/ssb/faculty.

Tyler Henson is planning three virtual trainings before the Spring 2026 semester begins and is collaborating with the Center for Teaching and Mentoring to conduct in-person trainings in February 2026. The same Zoom meeting link will be used for all three virtual training sessions.
