Closed Caption Video Request

To keep all videos produced by official University channels in compliance with federal regulations, True Blue TV is providing closed captioning services on videos created by or on behalf of MTSU divisions, colleges, departments, and official university groups.

We have been notified that fines could be levied against the University and the related department if videos are not properly closed captioned by April, 2026. Questions regarding ADA requirements should be directed to Lance Alexis, Director of ADA Compliance ([email protected]).

True Blue TV will create the closed captioning files; they will be double-checked by one of our editors and corrected, if needed. We will return the finished file to you to upload to your video on the website, social media account, or other digital platform. If any errors are identified, we will correct them for you at no additional cost.

There is a $1.00 per-minute charge with a minimum charge of 30 minutes ($30.00) per video. The fee is charged to the index number provided on the form. Questions regarding closed captioning should be directed to Ty Whitaker, General Manager of True Blue TV ([email protected]).
