More Details

Summer is a great time to focus on a writing or research project, no matter where you are in the process. To get started and stay on track, you need to have a solid plan with measurable and achievable writing goals. This workshop will help you prepare to get the most out of your summer writing. Based on the book Professors as Writers, by Robert Boice, this workshop will cover common obstacles to writing and strategies to overcome them, how to be productive over an extended period of time, and the importance of goal setting. Throughout the workshop, participants will engage in discussion and reflection about their writing and scholarly process and complete hands-on activities.
