Youth Summer Camp
Participating in Youth Summer Camp is a great way for your child to get involved, learn a variety of sport, leisure and fitness activities and learn important crucial life skills. Some of the most valuable skills emphasized are good sportsmanship, the value of regular exercise, and working together as a team. Other goals include: learning beginner-to-intermediate skills in a variety of sports; the importance of a healthy lifestyle; developing a good character, and, of course, having fun!
Ages: Boys and girls 7-13
Cost: $170 per week or $40 for a daily drop-in.
Discounts: $10 per week to MTSU Employees, Rutherford School District Employees
$10 per week if you sign up for 4 weeks of the summer at once
$20 off per week if you sign up for the entire summer up front
Time: Drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m., organized camp activity begins at 9 a.m.; pick-up begins at 4 p.m.
Lunch: A nutritious lunch is included in the tuition and is provided by MTSU Dining Services.
What to wear: Comfortable sports or active wear is recommended, as well as athletic or close-toed shoes. Campers swim every day (weather permitting), so they should also pack a swimsuit, flip flops and a towel each day.

Junior Adventure Camp

Swim X-press Competitive Skills Camp
This camp is designed to teach children ages 10-16 basic competitive swim skills including: backstroke, breaststroke,butterfly, freestyle and flip turns. As a prerequisite to this camp, participants must be able to swim 25 yards across the pool without stopping or touching bottom.
Cost: $30 per week
