Unity Luncheon
The Unity Celebration is a tradition that has been around since 1996, where we honor our unsung heroes. The nominees must meet the following criteria: age 50 or older who have resided in the Middle Tennessee area for 20 years or more and who have made outstanding contributions to their community.

Time: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Join us for our 29th Annual Unity Luncheon. Established in 1996, the Unity Luncheon pays homage to “unsung heroes” in the community — persons 50 years of age or older who have lived in Middle Tennessee for 20 years or more and who have made outstanding contributions to their community.
The Honorees for 2025 are:
Education: Sherica Nelms
Community Service: Regina Harvey
Excellence in Sports: Thaya Morant
Advocate of Civility: Vincent Windrow
Contribution to Black Arts: Darryl Chaney
