Isabel is currently a first-year graduate student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Master’s program at Middle Tennessee State University. She is currently a project associate for the Center for Organizational and Human Resource effectiveness and is assisting on projects for Murfreesboro Police Department and Fleming Training Center.  

Prior to COHRE, Isabel interned with the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office to help improve the interview and selection process of correctional officers. Additionally, she worked as a Human Resources Co-op at the Lansing Board of Water and Light where she assisted in the analysis of compensation data, the recruitment and selection of new candidates, and various administrative task. Isabel has also worked as a dance instructor, teaching and choreographing routines for dancers of all ages and abilities.  

Isabel graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Capital and Society and minors in Leadership of Organizations and Dance. As a member of the Honors College, she was able to conduct further research on employer liability of negligent hiring of ex-offenders and female participation in the political sector.
