The recent Campus Forum brought campus partners together for an engaging update on True Blue Fusion, MTSU’s enterprise transformation that will modernize finance, human resources, procurement, and budgeting.
Jennifer Ponder, Change Management Architect, kicked off the session and emphasized that True Blue Fusion is more than a system upgrade; it’s a universitywide shift in how work gets done, with clear communication and support at the center of the effort.
Campus and functional leaders shared updates across key areas of the project, including:
- Yvette Clark, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, covered the differences between SSB9, Canvas, and True Blue Fusion
- Drew Harpool, Interim Vice President for Business and Finance, explained the new Chart of Accounts
- Wendy Brown and Gayle Barker, Human Resource Services Directors, discussed HR and payroll updates
- Zach LeBarts, Assistant Vice President for Administration and Business Services, highlighted process improvements in procurement, including a demo in the new Oracle system
The forum wrapped up with a robust Q&A session, where participants asked thoughtful, practical questions about payroll timing, approvals, system access, and day-to-day workflows, reflecting strong campus engagement and interest.
