True Blue Fusion

Training Information

True Blue Fusion training is designed to give every MTSU faculty and staff member the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in Oracle Cloud. Training covers Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM system functionality, the new Chart of Accounts, business process design and role-specific transactions, and HR and financial reporting.

Training is not a one-time event. True Blue Fusion learning is designed to occur in phases — early awareness and exposure now, role-based training in late 2026 through January 2027, and ongoing support and on-demand guidance post-go-live. Support will be available before, during, and after go-live — no one is expected to know everything at once.

When Will Training Be Available?

End user training has been designed to roll out in waves to users across campus, with a dedicated registration period for each wave.

A Learning Experience Built for You

Training is tailored to various learning styles and includes the following modalities:

Instructor-Led Trainings (ILT)

Traditional in-person or virtual classroom style learning. Sessions include live demos, hands-on exercises, and time for questions. ILT sessions run approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

Computer-Based Trainings (CBT)

Click-through trainings for common, recurring training needs. Available on demand in Canvas and accessible any time at your own pace.

Job Aids and Quick Reference Guides

Step-by-step instructions that guide users through specific Oracle processes. These printable and downloadable guides are designed to be a quick reference as you work.

Videos

Short 2–3 minute videos that guide users through common processes. Ideal for quick refreshers or reviewing a single task.

Oracle Guided Learning (OGL)

In-system assistance that provides step-by-step click paths as you run through the process. OGL is built directly into Oracle Cloud and is available any time you need help while working in the system.

Open Labs

Office-hours style sessions that allow users to ask questions and practice hands-on with a subject matter expert. Open Labs are available both in-person and virtually.

What Is Oracle Guided Learning?

Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) is an in-system adoption tool intended to aid in system training, adoption, and engagement of Oracle Cloud system transactions. OGL is built directly into Oracle Cloud and provides support right where you need it — inside the system, while you work.

Guided learning provides a series of tools for in-application end-user training and on-the-job support, including:

Process Guide — guide users visually through each step of a task by providing structured instructions and highlighting necessary fields

Smart Tips — provide context-sensitive help or supplemental information in the Oracle interface

Message Guides — the ability to broadcast messages to announce new features, inform users of upcoming events, and more

How Do I Register for Training?

All training materials — including job aids, videos, computer based courses and recordings of instructor led trainings — will be accessible through Canvas on demand.

When registration opens for your wave, you will receive an email with a direct link to the courses scoped for your role(s). You will be able to view available courses and sessions, select any applicable dates for Instructor Led Trainings and register directly in Canvas.

What Is Pilot Training?

The goal of Pilot Training is to provide Blue Partner Network members with an early look at Oracle, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of training content and delivery prior to go-live. A subset of the training library will be released, across all modalities, and will include live, in-system demos and conceptual overviews from subject matter experts.

Pilot Training will take place in October 2026. Due to its early release, participants will have the opportunity to retake any training relevant to their role closer to go-live and beyond.
