Welcome to the Esports Level Up Arena!

General Information

The Esports Level Up Arena is located on the first floor of the Student Union Building next to the Student Union’s North Commons and the Phillip’s Bookstore. All students are welcome to use the space. Students are responsible for all damages to equipment.

The Esports Level Up Arena features:

  • Casual Gaming Space
    • 24 PCs
    • 4 individual monitors to connect a Switch 1 or 2
    • A shoutcasting room dedicated to streaming matches for the MTSU Esports Club
  • Console Gaming Space
    • 2 85″ displays for group gameplay
    • 2 Switch 2s equipped with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
  • Competitive Gaming Space
    • 3 Competitive Bays
    • 18 PCs
    • 3 Coach’s stations
    • 4 57″ displays for VOD review

All PCs in the Esports Level Up Arena are equipped with SENET, a venue management software that streamlines the process for MTSU students to download and play games. They are equipped with popular games, such as Valorant, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, League of Legends, Apex Legends, and Marvel Rivals. If your favorite isn’t here, don’t worry! All PCs have Steam, Epic Games, Riot Client, and many more catalogs to choose from.

Esports Competition Space

General Information

On the first floor of the Student Union Building, there is the Esports Competition Space available to designated students on our competitive esports teams.

The Esports Competition Space features:

  • 3 competitive bays with 6 PCs each for players
  • 1 dual-monitor PC in each room for coaches
  • Access to gaming distribution platforms, such as Steam, Epic Games, and Riot Client
  • 4 57″ displays for VOD review
  • 18 webcams to stream players during matches and tournaments
  • 21 Secretlab gaming chairs
  • Redbull-donated fridges and product for competitive players

The competition space includes three team rooms, including dual-monitor PCs for coaches. There are also televisions in each room to review gameplay.

Level Up Esports Arena Guidelines

  1. No Unplugging Cables. Do not unplug or tamper with any cables or equipment. If you encounter issues, please contact a staff member for assistance.
  2. Personal Equipment Restrictions. Bringing your own mouse or keyboard is not permitted during open gaming hours. Use only the equipment provided in the arena.
  3. Food and Drink Policy. Food and drinks are not allowed in the arena. The only exception is water bottles with lids. Please keep the area clean and free from spills.
  4. Login Requirements. Users must log in to the computers using their own MTSU FSA credentials. Unauthorized use of another person’s login is prohibited.
  5. Behavior and Conduct. Running, horseplay, and any other disruptive behavior are not allowed. Protect the equipment and maintain a respectful environment.
  6. Audio Use. All audio must be played through personal headphones. Ensure your headphones are used at a volume that doesn’t disturb others.
  7. Game Installation. Students are responsible for downloading and installing their own games. Staff will assist when they are able to with game installations.
  8. Staff Access and Monitoring. Staff members have access to all monitors and computers in the arena. All equipment is approved for gaming. Any misuse or damage will be reported to the Office of Student Cares and Conduct.
  9. Cleanliness and Respect. Maintain the cleanliness of the arena by disposing of trash properly and respecting the space. Leave your area tidy for others.
  10. Respect for Others. Be courteous to fellow gamers. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  11. Personal Belongings. Personal items should be kept with you. The Level Up Arena is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in suspension from the Level Up Arena and/or referral to MTSU Police or the Office of Student Cares and Conduct.
