Provide supplies, student labor, repair parts and maintenance costs for the University computer lab in KOM 350-351-360. In 1994 the Computer Science Department agreed to add extended evening and weekend hours to this lab in exchange for TAF funds to pay for the additional student labor and also for supplies (paper and laser printer toner) for the lab. Subsequently this support was extended to help with repair parts (for in-house repairs which are much faster and more economical than sending machines out for repairs) and maintenance costs (when repairs cannot be done in-house). This has been funded in Pool 1 every year since 1994. All computer science classes have lab requirements, so each semester the lab is used by over 1400 students enrolled in CSCI classes in addition to "walk-ins" who find the lab convenient.
