The Adaptive Technology Center (ATC) offers equitable access for MTSU and the surrounding community through technology. Our function as an open computer lab, provider of services, collaborator with faculty and staff, and short-term equipment lender serves more than 1000 individuals annually. This includes over 600 students who are registered with the Disability and Access Center (DAC), diverse learners, nontraditional students, and students studying disability related fields. The ATC also provides consultative services to the other lab directors who have adaptive technology in their labs. This proposal includes renovations to the ATC, purchase of new chairs, and updates to various technologies. With these additions, the ATC will offer up-to-date equipment and services to the population it serves.
