Most of the equipment in this proposal will be used to help our Photography program continue its transition toward digital. This gear will primarily be used to populate a new digital photography lab that will be part of the new space the program is moving to next fall. The items in this proposal will be used by all Photography students including 80+ majors, minors, and a growing number of students taking photography classes as electives. This proposal is an essential step toward updating the Photography program. It is also meant to fulfill the University's contractual obligation to match funds that were donated by retired Photography Professor, Harold Baldwin.
