The James E. Walker Library at MTSU is the intellectual center for 26,000+ students and is a reflection of the university's commitment to education and research. Last year the Library checked our 80 student laptops over 18,000 times. We are proposing to replace 28 of these student laptops which are over 5 years old and out of warranty. We also request 28 additional laptop power supplies as we must have a charger in the storage rack as well as one in the case. We are also requesting new cases for these machines.
