This interdisciplinary technology project is submitted to provide technology to five new rooms under construction in the Sports Medicine construction project, funded by National HealthCare. This would provide state of the art technology access to five new rooms (202, 203, 204, 205, & 206) as identified on the construction blueprint. Undergraduate students in the academic department of HPERS (Athletic Training, Health, Recreation, and Physical Education), approximately 600 majors and students from other disciplines, that are also student-athletes (approximately 350) would have access to these facilities. Students will have access to this technology to supplement in class projects with multi media presentation software, access to the latest academic electronic resources, and enhanced lecture presentations by faculty and staff. Work is under way to offer courses online and through distance learning, this technology would have a positive impact on those student centered activities.
