The KOM University computer lab complex serves thousands of students each semester. Approximately 100,000 sessions were logged for 2013 by more than 7500 students, with an average of 800 sessions per day during Fall/Spring. We are requesting one powerful server to use for lab computer image installations which will provide more storage and increased speed. We are requesting two servers to replace servers that provide remote access and storage capabilities to students. These servers are 7 years old and 4 years out of warranty. We are requesting two UPS battery backups to replace two old UPS backups that are out of warranty and are beginning to show errors. These UPS backups support servers that provide services to students and manage lab support. We are requesting Geometers Sketchpad software licenses for computers in 267 to upgrade to the newest version which is used in most textbooks.
