Several Saunders Fine Arts master classrooms are not dark enough for instruction via projector and computer technology. The current mini-blinds are extremely old, bent, partially functioning and do not block light adequately. Students and faculty are complaining (especially SFA 101) that they cannot see the projection. Additionally AMX controllers are old and outdated. We are requesting funding for four of our rooms (SFA 101, 212, 301, 303) to receive updated AMX controllers that can control window shades and that motorized opaque window shades be installed. SFA 101 could be configured with 9 automated shades at 42" width each or 3 shades at 11' wide each as each window casing has 3 windows. SFA 212 and SFA 301 have seven windows each and SFA 303 has 8 windows.
