We are looking to replace the aging MAC Computers in the Student Union Computer Lab. As we are approaching the 5 year mark for the equipment, students who use the Lab are increasingly finding it difficult to use the MACs as they are either offline, unable to print correctly, or have other issues. We have already replaced a machine during the current academic year that stopped working. As we have students who specifically need to use a MAC for various projects on campus, we would like to have them replaced to assist students in their academic pursuits. As we have a smaller lab on campus with only 16 computers, having MACs that do not work cuts down on the amount of students we can service in our Lab.
