The KOM computer lab serves thousands of students each semester. Approx 100,000 sessions are logged yearly for 7500 students/800 sessions per day. We are requesting the replacement of an automated installation server used to maintain lab equipment that was pur1chased in 2009 and is six years out of warranty. We have an additional management server purchased in 2013 that is out of warranty and due for replacement. We have a virtual machine host server that was purchased in 2013 that provides support services to the lab. This server is past the warranty expiration date and is due for replacement. We also have several aging UPS battery backups with PDUs that provide power and battery backup capabilities to servers that support the lab. We are requesting replacement of two of the UPSs with two PDUs this year. We are asking for renewal for software to prepare software packages for automatic deployment in the labs. We are asking for an 48 port switch to support the network and two additional racks with KVMs for servers.
