The AV equipment in the Graphic Design computer labs in Todd Hall are in serious need of upgrades. Faculty and students report that the projectors are in low contrast and resolution. In addition, projected images are warped and the color is washed out. This is affecting the students' ability to learn interface systems and to produce industry-standard portfolio projects. Students indicate they are unable to see where the professor's cursor is landing on the screen, making it very difficult, if not impossible, to follow tutorials and demonstrations. We are hopeful both of these computer labs, Todd 333 and Todd 337, will be able to be upgraded with TAF funding. But if current costs prohibit that and only one room may be upgraded, our preference would be to upgrade Todd 333.
