This classroom was set up as a master classroom in the late 1990’s with 1 whiteboard, which is mostly covered when the projector screen is down. The classroom is deep, making it difficult for students in the back to see the screen, particularly when the sun shines through the back windows. The teaching station also partially blocks the screen. Seating consists of older tables and mismatched chairs. It is a general use classroom utilized by MTSU faculty in all disciplines as well as faculty from other departments. Construction for this room will include electrical and data updates required for new wall-mounted displays, instructor’s station upgrades, and additional outlets for apparatus used to teach specialized courses. Also, minor construction will be accomplished to reorient the front of the room to the east wall, as well as painting, lighting improvements, window coverings, card-swipe access, and new furniture (white boards, instructor’s stool, lectern, student chairs). A/V improvements will include two touch screen monitors on the east wall, and one on the west wall.
