This proposal seeks funding to upgrade the technology in the BAS S315 classroom serving multiple departments and students who require access to modern technology to enhance their teaching and learning experience. The current computers in the classroom are seven years old and are no longer sufficient to meet the needs of students in today's rapidly changing technological environment. We want to replace outdated (7 years old) computers with new, high-performance machines that will give students access to the latest technology. The upgraded technology will enable students to develop the technical skills they need to succeed in the modern job market. We also need to upgrade the audio/visual equipment to enhance the learning experience for all our students. The current computers can barely run all the software we need, and the projection screen is small and blurry. Upgrading the technology in this classroom is a necessary investment in the future of the students it serves. This classroom is used weekly by 600 students in an academic year. Teachers prefer not to use this classroom because the technology is very slow. With access to modern technology, students will be better equipped to meet the challenges of the modern job market, and teachers will have the tools they need to deliver high-quality instruction. We believe this proposal represents a meaningful investment in the future of our students, and we ask for your support in making this project a reality.
