The Department of Human Sciences offers five undergraduate programs with nine options and a graduate program with two options. There are currently nearly 800 students majoring in these programs and support courses provided for a number of other disciplines. EHS 109 is a multi-use classroom utilized for lecture, basic design (art studio), small group seminars and presentation techniques classes requiring demonstration equipment and videotaping student presentations for critique. Conversion to a master classroom will give students and instructors the opportunity to utilize state-of-the-art technology for creating presentations utilizing internet access, power-point and a variety of other instructional techniques. The room is scheduled for 14 classes this semester with a capacity of 35 students per class. In the spring semester of 2002, 325 students are scheduled for classes which meet in this room.
