BAS S304 is a 34-seat computer classroom used primarily to teach Information Systems and Business Intelligence and Analytics courses. The computers in the classroom are old with limited storage. Given the age and limitation of the computers, this classroom is used only when no other computer classroom is available in the BAS and by Customs. The requested upgrade will allow faculty and students access to more reliable, up-to-date technology. This room is overdue for an upgrade to help us remain competitive in attracting students from a shrinking pool of college-aged students. The requested construction, new computers as well as upgrading some of the technology will raise this classroom to the standard expected by our students to remain a modern facility.
