This proposal requests setting up a new master classroom in BDA 307 and replacing a stolen computer in BDA 309 (the only master classroom in BDA for use by foreign language faculty and students). The department has just switched to using two new textbooks for both Spanish and French courses this academic year. Both textbooks are accompanied by digital audio and interactive video materials. In order for foreign language faculty to use those multimedia materials in classroom instruction, we need to have computer and display equipment in the classrooms in BDA where the majority of foreign language classes are taught.
