This project will update and modernize Bragg 130. Currently all of the displays, and switcher, are using old, low resolution VGA cables to interconnect. This makes it tough for students to see what the instructor is doing as the displays look fuzzy and pixelated due to the old analogue signal. The chairs in this room need to be replaced, for many of them are broken and do not have vertical adjustments. Because of this, some students are not be able to fit their legs underneath the desk. The Smart Classroom proposal will upgrade our audio/video switcher, HDMI cabling, displays, and chairs for the 12 student stations. This classroom hosts approximately 11 sections per semester, and is also an open lab, 24/7, for students to work on projects outside of class. It is utilized by both undergraduate, and graduate students in the Department of Recording Industry.
