Provide up to 100 times the current bandwidth for Computer Science file shares and Virtual Network Computing (VNC) sessions. Computer Science students have exceptional network access needs because of the complexity and volume of the network traffic that their work produces. Benefits include greatly improved delivery speeds and more efficient use of existing computer resources for instruction and research via wider VNC use, and faster access to the department’s Beowulf cluster.
