This request is made in conjunction with the anticipated move of our safety and CADD programs to the Midgett Building. Laboratories there would be partially or fully equipped using software and equipment requested in this proposal and to assist in meeting demands outlined by accrediting agencies to update our offerings using the latest software available. Computers requested will be used to replace older model pentium 100 computers in two computer labs that have compatibility problems with existing or updated software used in the classes. The safety/environmental software will support laboratory functions in the new safety lab for those students involved in environmental science and industrial hygiene issues. The color laserjet printer will allow CADD student to print photo-realistic images of rendered CADD solid models and #-D studio images. All items together will benefit approximately 300 students annually.
