Scales for plant & animal science labs. These additional scales will be used by approximately 420 students annually. Currently, scales are shared between labs which results in students not having access at all times. A solar array is also requested for students to use in the alternative fules research projects being conducted in the department. This technology will enable MTSU to develop an automobile that runs completely from the forces of nature. Students benefit from the technology and the university will benefit from increased public service that these vehicles make to the university. A request is also being made for a heat detection and milk monitoring system for dairy cattle. Students enrolled in the livestock and dairy science courses. The equipment will also be essential to conducting faculty and student led research.
