With the increase use of technology in classroom, teachers are increasingly using computer presentation for class lectures. This proposal will allow to install new "easy to use" technology that will free teachers from the computer desks and will allow them to interact more directly with students in the classroom. By installing new Gyration Ultra Professional units in BAS master classrooms, teachers will be able to "remotely" control every aspect of their presentations without the need to be "tied" to the desk. The Gyration unit operates as an "intelligent" wireless optical mouse with programmable controls that allow the user to advance slides in a presentation, point, highligh, underlining text in the OHP screen, etc. By using these units, teacher - student interactions could be facilitated and the classroom "dynamics" will be made more fluent. This proposal will benefit all teachers and students using the BAS building.
